Forget the pyrotechnics and mosh pits—on June 14th, 2024, in Nirvana in Turku, it was all about the acoustics. Three musical projects were on the lineup for that Friday night: ABSOLUTE KEY, ITERUM NATA, and GRIFT.
The evening started slow with ABSOLUTE KEY filling Nirvana’s walls with the chime of bells and the hum of ambient synthesizers.
The second act of the night was an acoustic trio called ITERUM NATA, who played a soft, intimate, but powerful, and emotional set. They were rewarded with a well-deserved standing ovation.
As the evening progressed, the Swedish acoustic phenomenon GRIFT took to the stage. A single man with a guitar, standing there and singing, and before you knew it, he captivated the room with his gravelly vocals and haunting tales. Check our photos of the evening here…
