Since their triumphant return with the release of “Stormbringers,” Finnish metal icons BEFORE THE DAWN have embarked on an extensive tour across their homeland, sharing the stage with none other than the mighty WOLFHEART. On October 13, 2023, we had the privilege of attending one of the last shows of the Finnish leg of their tour at the impressive Logomo in Turku before the band is heading to further conquer the stages of Europe.
The night began with WOLFHEART, who treated the eager crowd to a powerful set featuring 9 songs that spanned their entire discography. Their performance provided a fantastic overview of their work, showcasing the band’s trademark high energy and unleashing a frenzy of headbanging led by guitarist Vagelis Karzis and bassist Lauri Silvonen.
As the anticipation continued to build, BEFORE THE DAWN took the stage, and from the moment they kicked off their set, it was clear that the audience was in for something special. A significant part of their latest success is undoubtedly attributed to the mesmerizing vocals of Paavo Laapotti, who managed to captivate and enchant the crowd with his voice.
