WARDRUNA needs no introduction: Einar Selvik‘s neo-folk project touched the souls of many. One of 2024’s closing acts the band’s stop at Tempodrom in Berlin as part of their World Tour 24 on November 12th, 2024.
They opened with “Kvitravn.” “Skugge” (Shadow) resonated with the audience for various reasons. “Solringen” energized the fertile rebirth of “Runaljod” and “Voluspá (Skaldic Version)” prepared for a journey after rebirth. They closed with “Snake Pit Poetry” written about Ragnar Lothbrok’s encounter with the snake pit after his capture by Northumbrian King Aelle.
