In mid-July every year, fans of heavy music flock to Uittamo in Turku for the Metallivuori festival. This year, the event took place on July 11th and July 12th, 2025, and, as always, featured a lot of great bands. We had two stages to watch bands on Puistolava and TRA stage inside the Uittamon Paviljonki, reserved for the Turku Rock Academy bands.
Day one started with a performance of a hard rock band, JAILBREAK, playing ’80s rock classics on the main stage, followed by ELYSIUM on the TRE stage. After that, we were back by the main stage to see SHEREIGN knock us out of our shoes with their sound and a truly rock star-worthy performance. In the meantime, on the TRA stage, BRAINTERROR was already preparing to play. These absolute legends, barely 15 years old, shredded so hard that the crowd loudly demanded an encore, which they got.
At 21:00 sharp, the main stage was dominated by SARA, a really pleasant alt-rock ensemble with over 20 years of stage experience, followed by the last act of the day on the TRA stage, KANTOR. The day ended with a performance by LOST SOCIETY, who never disappoint and always are ready to give their 100% in the name of metal. Check out our photo gallery here…
