On November 10th, 2025, the legends of melancholic progressive metal KATATONIA arrived at the Logomo club to entertain the local connoisseurs of somberness, but also slightly brighten up the Finnish winter darkness. The Turku date kicked off their “Waking State of Europe Tour”, on which they embarked with their friends from a gothic prog metal band EVERGREY, and an alt progressive group KLOGR.
The first band of the night, KLOGR, took to the stage and immediately started blasting intricate riffs, setting the mood for the night and warming up the audience. Then Swedish giants of melancholic prog, EVERGREY, entered and surprised everyone by playing their newest single, “Oxygen,” live for the first time. Finally, KATATONIA took to the stage in a cloud of smoke and a solemn atmosphere. They began with “Thrice,” “Soil’s Song,” and then debuted “Rein” for the first time live. The setlist consisted of both well-known songs like “Austerity” or “Lethean” as well as relatively recent releases. After an outstandingly comprehensive set consisting of 17 songs, the evening came to an end, leaving everyone in a state of delighted contentment. Check our photo gallery here…
