Last Monday, October 6th, 2025, PENDULUM brought their mix of drum & bass, rock, and electronic precision to Helsinki Ice Hall, with their live band act supported by the UK-based ALT BLK ERA. The evening unfolded with a clear sense of structure — a focused warm-up followed by a headliner whose live energy remains remarkably intact after years on the road.
ALT BLK ERA opened the night with a dark, experimental sound that blended heavy beats and ethereal vocals. Their performance carried an understated confidence with a dashing level of youthful spirit, gradually drawing the early audience closer to the stage. Though still a relatively new name for many, their presence and fresh energy made a strong impression — and proved genuinely entertaining.
PENDULUM’s set followed with the kind of technical exactness and control that has defined their reputation since the early 2000s. The band balanced live instruments with electronic layers seamlessly, keeping both energy and precision high throughout the night. The light design and visuals complemented the music without overwhelming it — and while the absence of pyros came as a small surprise, it served as a reminder that PENDULUM’s strength lies in cohesion rather than spectacle.
The atmosphere at the Helsinki Ice Hall remained charged yet measured — a full crowd, fully engaged, but not lost in chaos. Check out our gallery from the show below!
