FEATURED SINGLE: Transworld Identity – Part Maroon, Part Indigo
Known from POPEDA, Lacu Lahtinen has apparently a new project, which he released a single with about a month ago. The band is called TRANSWORLD IDENTITY, who released their latest single “Part Maroon, Part Indigo” on 19 September 2019.
I only discovered the song a couple of days ago, but ever since it’s been on repeat in my mind. Finland has a lot of heavy metal, but melodic rock has become a rare gem in a heavy-fueled society. The song has catchy melodies, riffs, a great melodic solo, and a strong 80s vibe. I especially like the vocal delivery of singer Mila Bosa, whose melancholic powerful vocals are really fit for this type of music. I’m curious to see what the band still has in store for us!
