Exclusive show of Alcest playing their new album in Spain

The French band ALCEST, pioneers of “blackgaze” and one of the most evocative acts in modern metal, return to present their new album “Les Chants de L’Aurore,” a sonic journey that explores light and spirituality through their characteristic fusion of ethereal beauty and heart-wrenching power. The event will take place on October 10th at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona as a single performance in Spain.

Since their debut with “Souvenirs d’un Autre Monde” back in 2007, ALCEST has blurred the boundaries of black metal, creating a universe where fragility and aggression coexist in perfect harmony. After the pandemic, their new album marks a return to the band’s original essence, transporting the listener to a state of reverie and inner exploration.

This time, they will be accompanied on this tour by the guest band BRUIT, one of the most impressive bands in contemporary post-rock. Emerging from the underground scene, their music, which combines orchestral elements, sonic experimentation, and a deep conceptual commitment, has been acclaimed for its ability to transport the listener to immersive and cinematic soundscapes. With their new album “The Age of Ephemerality,” recorded in a church in Toulouse, BRUIT continues to challenge convention with a sound that balances delicacy and forcefulness, offering a musical experience that transcends labels.
