BENEDICTION are pioneers of British death metal, on the battlefield since 1989. We warmly welcome them to Mystic Festival. Another band that will join the lineup is Warsaw’s own SWAYZEE.
BENEDICTION are – next to BOLT THROWER – pioneers and masters of classic British death metal. From their debut, “Subconscious Terror” in 1990 until their most recent, “Scriptures,” they are faithful to once-perfect formula. It’s raw, without any embellishments, with armor-like sound, killer riffs and growl from hell. They will perform on Main Stage on Friday, 03.06 which will create a truly British day – JUDAS PRIEST, SAXON, THE RAVEN AGE, and BENEDICTION.
SWAYZEE is punk, glam, and rock ’n’ roll. Bare chests, shenanigans, and melodies that will follow you till the end of the festival and maybe even home. It’s worth checking out their CD, “Greatest Hits,” but their gigs are even better and thanks to that, you’ll be able to sing the choruses.
BENEDICTION and SWAYZEE will replace OBITUARY and STAY NOWHERE in the lineup.
