Former Battle Beast guitarist Anton Kabanen founded Beast in Black as soon as he had parted ways with Battle Beast in 2015. The band played their first gig in 2015 as an opener for Nightwish. Now they are finally ready to release their debut album “Berserker” in November. The cover art is done by Roman Ismailov, who was the original illustrator and graphic artist for Battle Beast. Additionally the band has signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast.
Kabanen stated: “Our wildest dreams came true when we made a deal with Nuclear Blast, the biggest and the best heavy metal label in the world! We are thrilled about our debut album release in November and besides the massive anthem-like heavy metal songs we’ll promise unforgettable live shows all around the world as we unleash the »Berserker« album!”
The album continues in the style of Anton’s previous works, which include the first three Battle Beast albums. The album’s theme is based on the Japanese manga and anime “Berserk”.
